Driving License Category A1
Driving License Category A1 is a permit to drive motorized two-wheeled vehicles. It permits you to drive mopeds or small motorcycles with an engine power of less than 11 kW.
The procedure for obtaining this license is a bit different from other categories. Let's take a look at the steps.
Prerequisites
You must be at minimum 16 years old in order to get a driving license category A1. This license permits you to drive light motorcycles while categories A2 and A are for larger motor vehicles. You must also pass a first-aid course and theoretical training based upon the full program. This is available from various driving schools. Prices can vary, but all of them follow the same curriculum.
The practical training consists up of several driving lessons. The classes last between three and four hours each. The instructors will instruct you on the fundamentals of your bike and the basic rules of the road. The amount of time you spend training will depend on your performance and abilities, but the curriculum stipulates at least five hours of instruction on roads that are federal and four hours of instruction on country roads. You also have to take part in several special riding lessons, which are designed to help you improve your abilities in difficult situations.
Anyone who wants drive vehicles in category C must hold a driving license of category B or above. A person who has a category B licence can continue to learn for category A1 using an easier program. However they must complete at least ten theoretical lessons and ten driving classes in the driving school. This is not possible for anyone who has a category A licence, which is why the instruction for this category begins at an earlier age.
Driving License Category A1 is a great option for teenagers looking to take control of their own vehicle or for adults who have been driving for some time but are looking for new ways to get around. You must possess a valid medical certification in addition to your driver's license. Depending on your health you may be required to pass an eye exam or other tests. Training
To obtain a Driving License Category A1, you must pass both the theory and the practical test. In addition to that you must take part in seminars and receive instruction. Theory test
The Driving License Category A1 test is a two part test that includes both a theoretical and practical portion. It is designed to give you an understanding of the highway code and driving abilities. The theory test portion includes 50 multiple-choice answers which you have to correctly answer. Practical test

Before you can get your license, you'll also have to pass a medical examination. You must also provide evidence of a first aid course and pass an eye test.
